After what seemed like forever, the receptionist called my name and asked me to go inside.
The nurse practitioner took my vitals and everything and directed me to change into a gown and wait for the doctor. A few minutes later, Dr. R. came in and introduced herself, asked a couple of questions, performed some regular tests and then started the sonogram.
She pointed to something on the screen and said "there's your baby." I squinted at the screen and she pointed again." Oh there you are ." She said that the heart beat is strong and after a few minutes she said that right now I'm at 6 weeks and 2 days. Next check up is in three weeks but i need to have my blood works done among other things.
Thank you Lord for this gift. Please keep him or her safe. I pray that you watch over us. I pray for a healthy and happy pregnancy and above all for a healthy, normal, beautiful, happy baby :)
